If planning to ship a large amount of freight (a household, trailer load or vehicle) please make a reservation one week before needed on the island, your reservation will be for the day before you plan to pick up on the island. All items will be weighed at drop off.
The barge runs Monday – Friday. Freight will be ready for pick up the following day on the island and freight returning from Avalon will be ready for pick up the following day in San Pedro after 10:00 am, except for freight returning on Friday, it will be ready on Monday.
Our business hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
We are closed on Sundays, Holidays & some Saturdays (please refer to Holiday schedule).

Filming On Catalina
- Thank you for considering Catalina Island as a location for your film or photo shoot project. When planning your film or photo shoot, please obtain the proper permits from Love Catalina, who facilitates the process for the City of Avalon. Jim Luttjohann will be your best point person for questions and obtaining permits.

Moving To The Island?
- Reservation required, please call the San Pedro office 310-221-6290
- 1 week before needed on the Island
- Rate for a move is $25.50 per 100 LBS (plus 10% fuel surcharge)
- You are responsible for transloading your move into our trailer(s)
o If hiring a moving company please make sure they are aware of the transloading process
o Your items will need to be in San Pedro by 10 am on the day of your reservation - Payment will need to be made at time of drop off
o Cash or credit cards are accepted
Credit cards can be called in over the phone after items have been dropped off and weighed if needed
o No checks - Once on island, move must be picked up within 48 hours to avoid storage fees
o Storage fee to occupy a trailer after 48 hours is $175 per day
o If not picked up within 30 days freight will be donated
Moving Off The Island?
